Evelyin Carlson, Outreach & Marketing Coordinator

HOUSTON, TX. – July 9, 2007 - Senior Guidance Directory Inc. has named Evelyn A. Carlson outreach and marketing coordinator.
Prior to joining the Senior Guidance Directory, Carlson was an intern with Care for Elders. In that capacity, she conducted research and produced numerous reports on critical senior-related health, lifestyle and safety issues in the Greater Houston area.  A 2007 graduate of the University of Houston, she received a Master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in gerontology.  Evelyn received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University in 2003.

Senior Guidance Directory, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization that annually publishes and distributes more than 130,000 copies of the Senior Guidance Directory.  Provided free to individuals at all Houston-area Walgreens pharmacies, and used daily by hundreds of government, social and charitable organizations who provide assistance and information to Houston’s older population, it is estimated that the Senior Guidance Directory impacts 650,000 lives each year.   The Directory is also available online at www.srguidance.org.
