Senior Expo & 2008-2009 Senior Guidance Directory & Caregiving Handbook

May 16, 2008 - Big crowds, fun entertainment, including the Harris County Precinct 1 Senior Drama Program, and Ms. Pasadena (Cornelia P. “Mama” Rose) singing “America the Beautiful” made the 2008 Senior Expo a successful senior event.

On stage with Ms. Pasadena (from left to right) is Dr. Stephen Williams, the Director for the Houston Department of Health and Human Services who spoke about the new Aging Agenda; City of Houston District B Council Member Jarvis Johnson, Cesar Martinez, WellCare of Texas president, Title Sponsor for the Senior Expo, and Emily Akin, Fox TV's "Take it To Akin". Akin helped launch the new 2008-2009 Senior Guidance Directory & Caregiving Handbook at this annual city-wide event.
